Content is king. This is the maxim that everybody that works in a creative field repeats to themselves day in and day out, and most of the time it means that no matter what happens you will have to keep working on content in order to ensure that it ends up going where you need it to go and your career remains safe in a creative landscape that is starting to become increasingly hostile to people that don’t maintain a consistent rate of content creation and end up burning themselves out along the way all in all.
The good thing is that there are a few key things that you can focus on if you want your content to succeed, and when it comes to boosting engagement there is nothing that is going to be more crucial for you than trying to incorporate some keywords into your text. Text based content is still very effective even though a lot of people claim that video is where it is at and while that is true to some extent it doesn’t mean that text based content is never going to get any engagement at all.
Keywords are very effective but don’t use them too much. Intersperse them with the rest of your text and don’t add them in clumps or clusters because of the fact that this would lead to web crawlers thinking that you are trying to trick potential readers. If you check out Claire Diaz-Ortiz here you would see that a lot of her success has to do with the clever and effective deployment of keywords, something that you would be amazed to see the benefits of once you start to use them properly.
